One short block from the shops and restaurants along the Embarcadero. Easy walk around downtown. Across the street from Dorn's Breakers Cafe, our favorite restaurant. Manager is friendly and hires good people. The view rooms are upstairs, but beware there's no elevator. If you want something casual, not too expensive, with a great location, the Landing is it! "

"This is a beautifully maintained hotel. It is as clean as it could possibly be in. The rooms are extremely comfortable. My room had a balcony which was fantastic. The bathrooms are amazing with fantastic showers. TV was DIRECTV and easy to operate. The breakfast was just OK with limited selections. As far as I could tell there was coffee, which was good, oatmeal and croissant breakfast sandwiches which we’re not very good because they were so greasy that if you ate one, you might have to...

"This hotel was amazing. We had a balcony that we could see the ocean from. It was a smaller balcony standing room only but I loved the big doors and being able to have the natural light. The staff was super friendly. They have enough parking and the space around the hotel was super quiet and safe. We weren’t far from anything we could definitely walk. Definitely would recommend and stay here again. "

"From the moment we walked into the front door, this was nothing like previous experiences at a Hampton. This was completely refreshed, nicely decorated, welcoming staff, beautiful rooms. We had a suite that faced "the rock". Breakfast was ok, well stocked and cared for. The only downside we experienced at chek-in counter was trying to get more coffee pads into our room. Otherwise everything just great."
