"Had last minute plan changes and happened upon this gem. I was very skeptical at first because the room itself was small and had a tiny window by the front door. It was like a cement room with a bed. The bathroom was large though. The beds were very comfy. We slept well. The property had so many things provided to do. Games, books, quiet rooms and the pool was amazing. It had shaded areas that were covered which was nice as there was a short downpour while we were swimming. We did not 7se them but, they also have paddle boards available for use while yoy stay. The property was kept immaculate. I am so glad I went ahead and stayed here. I will stay again."

"We were situated in the older tower, but had a great view of bay. It was more difficult to find and navigate to hotel restaurant due to lack of any signage, and that our more obvious route was outside. Hilo is, after all, the rainiest city on the planet. Took us a wet try, and getting info to "maze" back to the older tower from restaurant staff. We suggest better signage, or info in room. The restaurant staff was okay...clearly overworked and understaffed. Front desk was adequate, but did exude the "Aloha Spirit". The older tower, although clean and sufficient, could use fresh paint, and new carpet in halls. The location and view, and lack of very many alternatives left this hotel as a good, and sufficient choice. Rooms were roomy, and beds/pillows/linen comfy."

"Host was very nice and helpful at check in. Amenities were sufficient. Nice welcome amenity in room and much appreciated. Light on porch was out making it hard to see. Shower facility in room was different. No waste basket in bathroom or a place to put toiletries and makeup when trying to use the mirror. Everyrhing got wet in bathroom when showering. No luggage rack or dresser Room very clean. Nice big clean kitchen with sufficient supplies. Very quiet area. Easy access to room was needed snd received. Comfortable bed. Would hv been nice to hv a small bistro perhaps. Brought 2 chairs in to sit on to hv dinner. Highly recommend this nice, low key, and comfortable place"
