"We were upgraded upon checking at no cost, which was a lovely treat. Reception staff were very nice. Didn't use the spa but have heard good reports from friends who have. Breakfast was good, but don't leave it to late to go as it becomes a bit hectic. Room was very nice, comfy and very clean. Good products in the bathroom and room facilities"

"What fabulous location , right on the quayside and alongside the millennium bridge . The magnificent glasshouse is directly opposite. Book a bridge view room !!! Staff were brilliant . The hotel is classic Malmaison , quality with an air of coolness . I loved staying here. Sensible priced , safe , secure nominated Parking was a real bonus. Thanks. "

"Disappointed not to have a twin room that I specifically requested at time of booking as was travelling with my grown up son. Was told 100% full on arrival (nearly midnight) but that there was a sofa bed in room. Got in there and that wasn’t made up and didn’t look fit to take a 6ft man or be comfortable to sleep in with my bad back. Eventually got a call saying a twin could be cleaned & made available- why that wasn’t the case in the first place I don’t know. The carpet near the bathroom was damp underfoot-think the ill fitting shower door allowed water from a previous occupant to leak out."

"We stayed in room 206 as it is an old property creaking floor boards late at night and early morning kept us awake. Also the fire doors on each room were constantly slamming closed, if only guests could keep hold of the door and close it quietly using a bit of common sense would ensure that other guests could get a good nights sleep. Fiona"
