As with rooms above pubs it is quite noisy but pretty well sound insulated and the pub closes relatively early. Staff were pleasant, helpful yet unintrusive. The room we had did not have main lighting so was very dark even with the side lights on and if you opened the blinds people on the street could see in - especially from the flat across the road. "Dotty was at the property when we arrived and showed us our rooms. The rooms were lovely, big and had everything that was needed, hairdryer and robes included. The shower room was big, had toiletries and the towels were nice and fluffy. The whole building was fantastic and is a lovely home.
