"The location of this hotel is amazing as it overlooks Hallstätter See in the quiet village of Obertraun. The room was very basic but clean and comfortable enough. It is on the expensive side for what you get but you are paying for location and this is why you would stay here. Instructions for self check-in were very clear and well received well in advance. Staff were friendly too. "

"Zimmer war ok, nur unter den Betten wird nicht gesaugt, Betten waren sehr gut, Badezimmer sehr groß und schön, Frühstück war auch ok, Zimmer zur Bahn war trotz geschlossener Fenster laut, Klimaanlage sehr schwach und es war kein Sommer - das Zimmer hat sich durch die Sonne im 6. Stock sehr aufgeheizt, aber wegen Bahnhof ist schlafen mit offenem Fenster auch kein Spaß - für zwei Tage ok, aber kein Wohlfühlurlaub"

"Lovely place, quiet and accessible walk to town. Go across street to private area, sit and enjoy the lake and mountain view. ONLY PROBLEM room was super hot, no AC and could not leave door open because a few bugs flew in. My husband didn't like that he had to pay for the coffee and bread. The manager was a lovely lady, very helpful. People in the town, not so much! Not engaging at all! "
