This resort advertised falsely on Expedia. The room they displayed for the one I chose is not the correct one. Apparently I have to pay more to get the one I saw in the picture which was clearly the one I picked for the price I paid. They said the bed is king sized, but it's clearly only queen sized. The staff here are terrible and lackluster. We don't feel welcomed at all as they are either not found anywhere, or look really unhappy serving us. I have to go searching for them at their quarters only to be serviced. Terrible terrible experience. Can't believe my wife and I wasted our time and money coming to stay here. The only thing that is good about this place is the natural surroundings, but that's pretty much anywhere in Janda Baik. I've never experienced any of Erya by Suria's services and hospitality before. So this bad first impression will definitely be one that ends it all for us with this group.

Management to Improve hotel Condition

Paid for extra bed during booking but hotel demanded to pay upon check in. Hotel.Com staff helped to resolve. The extra bed is filthy & no longer usable! The mattress in bad condition & bed frame is dusty. Hotel staff was helpful trying to make the best out of a filthy mattress. It is very comfortable sleeping on a filthy mattress, causing bad allergies! The hotel is run down. The hotel need to improve on entrance signage. There are few types of Erya’s hotel . The photos showed in website booking is not similar to actual room.

There is lots of inside the hotel promotion is outsiders belonging....have to drive to go there....for me this bluff promotion.....nothing to do except sleep in the room and go to the river...some more quite far....have to walk there....

Unpleasant check in and Not friendly

Only 1 staff in charge at reception and no proper check in. The staff not even friendly while checking my booking. It like I don't booked this hotel. After that no coupon for breakfast next days. Only 3 main menu is served. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends or my relatives. The management should review this environment.

seek for quite and comfortable breakoff

me and my wife hadnt the chance for the last a year and half to spend the time for ourselves as we were too busy with work. We used to travel almost every month, until few days ago we had enough stress and i decided we should have ourselves away from work for just a day. so i choose suria hill and thought we could at least have a good rest just at the hotel. but, the sweet environment and comfortable feeling makes us as busy as we were working. i've spent most of my time there with fishing and my wife took the chance with her photography hobby at the river and the hotel surrounding. Although, we felt so much relief if stress and motivated again to start our routine at work.

Basic hotel

The hotel is small and rather basic in amenities. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine.The only thing that I disliked is that the walls between rooms are really really thin. So, every conversation, cough, cry and even snores can be heard through the walls. This compromises greatly on the privacy of the guest.

SEMASA penginapan kami, mlm tiada bekalan electric, termasuk awal pagi, kami sekeluarga tidur dlm kepanasan dan nyamuk, ank kecil kami menangis, pagi nk mandi tiada heater, tak boleh seterika baju. Sepatutnya pihak hotel ada generator sendiri utk keselesaan pelanggan. Percutian kami sekeluarga Hampa dan musnah, ank sy belajar madrasah dan bukan senang dpt cuti. Saya harap pihak hotel dpt menyediakan private generator

The overall standard is okay. It's clean & enough for basic stay to avoid the city hassle over the weekend. Got a nice & clear stream nearby and can do a barbecue dinner as well.
