"We stayed here our last night in Iceland and it was wonderful. Super clean, family room was large, and the kitchenette allowed us to make a quick, cheaper dinner. Bathroom was super clean and everything was updated. We didn’t stay long, but there are lots of cute shops and food places within walking distance. Highly recommend."

"It is a clean and cozy place to stay away from the main city area. We just ran into one issue. There was someone drilling and installing a hotel sign on the outside wall all day on one of our stay days. We were not informed in advance about this install. Also, the person working on the sign kept the emergency exit door open which invited a ton of mosquitos in the hallway which eventually ended up in our room. "Such a cute place to stay! Very quiet, clean, and has a great view of the ocean from every view of the property. The horses at the entrance of the property were a pleasant surprise! "We found the apartment’s lighting was too dark because of dark color of walls and not enough of lighting fixtures. Besides the fixtures are spot lights type so that certain areas were not covered. No headboard lights. The room is quite decent and very clean. Ample space for two people. Location is quite good, closes to the freeway leading to downtown Reykjavik."

"This was a nice place to stay, especially for the price. Breakfast was included and was great. The room was comfortable. The hotel is located about a 10 minute drive from downtown Reykjavík and it is not walkable from the hotel which was the only small drawback."

"Hotel Von has the perfect location in downtown Reykjavik. It is right on the main shopping street. It is less than 5 minutes from Bus Stop 9, where all the tours pick up. Our room was very clean. The staff was always available and helpful. We highly recommend staying here."
