"What a great town to visit for a couple of nights. The lodge itself is very nice. I had a small room that is sufficient for one person. Easy parking. This lodge is on the main street for the town of Red River, and all shops and restaurants are within a 15 minute walk from the lodge. One of the ski lifts is located right next to the lodge. There are two hot tubs available in the back for hotel guests to use. I would recommend this lodge for staying in Red River."

"The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). There is an area for games or quiet time. There was a festival on the square Saturday afternoon and evening which made us appreciate the location even more. We had a...

"We stayed in a dome. No frill but met our needs. Very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. There were only two power outlets in the dome and both were used for the light and AC. Consider bringing a power strip. Bathroom was clean and had shampoo etc in them. You bring towels from the dome. There were 6-7 domes/tents, maybe 4-5 occupied, sharing 3 bathrooms and we never had to wait. Breakfast was pretty good with waffles, muffins, toasts, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit cups, etc. You...

"Check in and check out were completely remote and extremely easy and convenient. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Wifi was fast, water pressure was good, parking easy. They also had a lovely little outdoor area to sit in. I would highly recommend stepping out at night to see the stars - we could see the entire milky way from the parking lot. The only little thing was that the A/C remote was a little hard to use. "
