Hotels near Los Lagos Hot Springs

"Beautiful grounds. Loved the variety of hot springs and views of arenal. Pool was nice. Private cottages. Exceeded my expectations. Slightly away from the town (shopping and restaurants) so you will have to rely on Ubers if not driving which during busy times and high traffic can take a while to get places. area is not pedestrian friendly. Breakfast is wonderful with lots of variety. "

"Very nice property and nice staff. Great location near town yet in the woods with sloths and monkeys often seen near rooms. Food was a bit uneven - great breakfast but dinner at the casual dining spot near reception was just ok. We did not try the main restaurant for dinner. "

"Beautiful hotel. The hot springs were awesome! These were the only hot springs we visited in the area. I had two kids (13 and 16) and they loved all the pools and water slides. Yes, the water slides are fast but if you go down the correct way it's fine. I would recommend this place for families with kids. Adults only might want to stay elsewhere as there are a lot of kids at this hotel. The hotel also lets in a lot of people visiting on only a day pass. The springs never seemed crowded but it's hard to find a lounge chair if you want one. "

"Beautiful well-appointed home!!! We were excited to find a washing machine since we were 5+ days into our trip in Costa Rica, coming from Guanacaste. Villa Calathea met our needs perfectly and thoroughly enjoyed the views, serenity, hot tub, etc. It's great that we had access to the hot sprints, pools, slides, restaurant in Hotel Los Lagos if we wanted it but really enjoyed the peacefulness of the villa and having the entire place to ourselves! Santiago was super communicative and was eager to help us but we did not request his assistance. Glad to know we could reach out though if we needed recommendations! We would come back to Villas Jawara again! Highly recommend."
