"The Central House is a comfortable place to stay in a very convenient location. It is “central” to all of Bar Harbor and is within an easy walking distance of most places within the town. Park your car in the lot and enjoy the area. The front porch is a great place to sit while you sip wine or coffee and watch the world go by. "

"We had booked here for a one night stay in July 2025 but when we arrived we loved it and decided if we could we would love to stay for another night. Chris was very accommodating and got us an another night here. This was nothing but fantastic! Excellent location, staff were phenomenal and the property was nothing but beautiful indeed and well kept. "Our stay at The Primrose was absolutely amazing! We were greeted after a long drive to complementary wine and a tour of the beautiful Primrose before settling in for the night. Our room was very clean and comfortable, it really did feel like home. Breakfast each morning was delicious and our room had a private spot on the porch to drink our coffee that overlooked the pollinator garden there, we saw so many hummingbirds!
