"The staff was excellent,Rachel at checkin was so helpful. All the front desk staff were quick to offer suggestions. grab n go breakfast was more than adequate.
We stayed in the main house -room bit dated, noisy heat unit and bathroom light/fan was annoying. Motion sensors so went on every time you walked in.
Also the mattress was lumpy good location but really needs some updates"

"My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort in Bar Harbor. The location is beautiful, and we loved reading by the water as the sun set. The rooms, the grounds, and all the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The staff and management are so kind and accommodating, we felt completely taken care of. Would highly recommend this for a high-quality stay a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor!"

"The complimentary breakfast buffet was one of the reviews we read that convinced us to book there, as well as the location.
The breakfast was amazing!! Notable was the blueberry muffins and pancakes, the French toast, the yogurt bar, the charcuterie board, varieties of coffee, and much more. It filled you for the day. One morning after breakfast they had a make your own trail mix bar as you exited from breakfast out for the day.
The accommodations were spacious, clean, decorated well.

"It is a charming property, with wonderful views of Frenchman's Bay. We were there early so some things ( bar) was not available yet. Our upper floor room with fireplace and balcony, were lovely! The mattress could be a little softer, but otherwise, no complaints. We look forward to a return visit in the future! Staff was friendly and helpful."
