"The staff!! I hope the owners know what they have by having Christopher there! The cleaning staff stopped and said hi and asked if the room needed anything. Christopher was witty and right on with his recommendations of places to eat. The location was great, quiet but close to everything. Rooms were nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend!!"

"The luxury tent was so spacious and comfortable with well designed spaces. We slept so deeply! Loved the park like setting, family s'mores, pool and spa, and the full service bar. Continental breakfast had wonderful muffins we grabbed to go for morning hikes. Excellent coffee. Loved the service. Loved the convenience of the shuttle to go to Bar Harbor or Acadia Visitor Center. My daughter, 6, cried when we checked out, always a good sign that we stayed at a wonderful place. "

"Sand Bar Cottage Inn greets you with beautiful gardens, a welcoming front porch and lots of smiles. We made the BEST CHOICE of a place to stay on Bar Harbor. As a airline family, both of us have spent a lot of time in hotels and wanted something different for our Bar Harbor stay. Comfortable beds, clean showers and charmng decor greet every visitor. The owner, Chris, is a delightful person and his personality is shown through the employees, decor and all. Oh, let's not forget the breakfasts! ...

"The location of the property is perfect! Just one block from the main strip so you are extremely close to all the food and shopping. The house is beautiful and the main areas are well furnished. The property is very clean. I ate way too many of the cookies which are left out daily- so delicious! My room was on the third floor (attic level). I loved having the space of a suite. My only issue was with the bathroom. Because the room is built in the roof line, the ceilings are low in the bathroom....

"Best described as charming and quiet. Very clean and well appointed. Half block walk to shops and restaurants. Staff is excellent. Walker was very helpful and recommended several fun things to do. Excellent breakfast. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The hosts were polite, warm, and very well-informed, offering plenty of helpful tips and recommendations—every suggestion we followed turned out to be spot on. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The food was delicious, served right on time, and really added to the overall experience. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and charm. Highly recommended!"

"The cabin is new with retro-style decor. As we entered, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. It was fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. It’s located in a nice spot. Aaron is knowledgeable, and he provided detailed information about the places to visit in Acadia. The personal touch makes a difference. They serve breakfast with homemade pastries—yum! "

"Great location, super comfortable bed and sheets, delicious breakfasts! You should know that the air conditioners are in the window if that is something that might keep you awake and breakfast is only served until 930 if you’d like to sleep in, but we loved you"

"When you enter in, it is a very calm and peaceful environment. Very clean. People very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great. Wonderful location to town. Only feedback would be try to get a room on the backside away from the street as sometimes you can hear traffic."
