"Attached to the hotel is the Governor's restaurant (the pictures that show bakery items under glass). Pool and hot tub are well maintained, I see maintenance and staff all around the property from early hours until late. Grab and Go breakfast choices on par with many breakfast options from most hotel chains. Super awesome desk staff, Genn and Julie were very helpful with sites for various topics around town, and requests. "

"We booked just one night in town to attend a friend's birthday party but needed to bring our dog with us so booked a "pet friendly" room. We were pleasantly surprised to find a dog bed, bowls and a bag of treats in our room. It was such a nice touch! The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was tasty and the front desk clerk very pleasant. We'll definitely book again!"

"250 Main is truly like "stepping into contemporary Europe" as the property is stunning and eclectic. The staff were very accommodating and informative during our stay. The parking situation is "amenable", but a result of our stay coinciding with the back-to-back Lobster Fest and Maine Boat Show weekends. "The most quaint spot you can imagine. I want to gatekeep but honestly it deserves all the praise! Outstanding service, clean amenities, quiet and serene space. Short drive into both Camden and rockland so not exactly walkable to restaurants and shops but the property makes the short drives worth it. So cozy and cannot say enough good things - just know you will have to drive to get to shops, restaurants, walkable streets etc."

"Stayed for lobsterfest which was conveniently right next door. Plenty of delicious local foods/restaurants/bars. Right by the docks where you can sail the Morning in Maine sunrise/sunset tour. Also very close to Owls Head for lighthouse about 10 min drive and a sandy beach for swimming about 10 min walk. 30 minutes from Marshall Point lighthouse if you want to visit Forrest Gump site. Accomodated for very late check in due to flight changes and understanding of medical emergency for late check...

"It was imaginatively set out.Fun to walk around Very friendly staff. I suggest grab bars in the bathrooms. Its very inexpensive and makes a big difference in the use of the toilet. Remember how many aging Boomers there are around now."
