Our stay for a hens weekend away was relaxing, clean and no effort to do with the apartment. Was the best unit I have stayed in, on the Gold Coast.

Room was perfect and as described so I do recommend. Great location and price.
Communication was a problem at the start with the property manager as they did not receive my messages via Expedia app to request early check in. Also the room was not ready at 2pm so they offered a late check out.
Other than that, we were really happy and would stay again.

Close to everything. Good apartment for a family stay. The hotel was nice but overall the facilities are a bit tired and the pool/spa area needs a makeover. Apartment was well equipped and generally clean. Beds were super comfy and an awesome view of the ocean. Didn’t appreciate the cockroaches on the 46th floor.

Great property and really clean room. The only downside was as it is privately managed we couldn’t go to reception staff at the hotel for help with things - also was not enough toilet paper in the room for our stay so we had to go and buy more.

I stayed here before and was completely satisfied, but this time I was very disappointed. The carpet in the master bedroom was damp, and the bathroom exhaust fan was not working. I stayed for three nights, yet only one day’s supply of shampoo and body wash was provided. Because the exhaust fan didn’t work, the entire room smelled damp. The kitchen range hood was broken, the dryer handle was nearly falling off, and both balconies had lots of spider webs. The kitchen bin still had trash left from the previous guest and was not emptied. Overall, this stay was really disappointing.

Would never stay with GCLR again. Had many issues right from the get go. Duplicate payments for the accomodation from my credit card which I had to prove. Cleanliness of the room was very poor. Toilet in disgusting state and the tiles were not mopped. This was never fully resolved after going into there office and complaining and baking several phone calls. Very dissapointed in the overall experience with this third party company.

We paid top dollar to stay in this apartment however the cleanliness really let it down. We had to clean the floor tiles upon arrival as they’d been mopped with a greasy substance that wouldn’t dry. The white mats used to clean the floor ended up brown. We found hairs when turning bed down, WIFI didn’t work and dryer stopped a number of times.
Location is fantastic but not worth the $$$.

This property was dusty and the floor was dirty and had not been thoroughly cleaned. The apartment was advertised as a three bedroom (and paid as a three bedroom) but the third bedroom had no window andooo there was no space to walk around the side of the bed. There were wires sticking out of a socket presenting a safety risk.
This was a very disappointing experience.

It would have been appreciated if the room had the air conditioning on, when we arrived for the first time, floors were slippery and apartment was stuffy with the humidity. It was really uncomfortable and dangerous walking in. Leaking tap, and not lockable door in second bathroom. For a three bedroom apartment and only to have 1 drying rack for clothes was unacceptable, we had to buy another 2 and leave them there. Will think twice before renting privately again.

Warning this is not a hotel! The back-alley company running this property were rude and mislead us about the property. We were put on a low floor with no view. We were delayed 90mins from getting in, which was very frustrating as you need to collect the key from a unprofessional shoebox of a shop on the other side of Surfers Paradise. They don’t provide towels and make you buy them if you want to use the pool. The steam toom is broken. The lifts are tiny, slow and annoying as you can wait a long time. No directions are given for parking. We’ll never stay here again. A waste of money.

Dislikes:
- Staff at key pickup were not very welcoming or friendly. Gold Coast Luxury Resorts' communication before, during and after my stay has been terrible.
- Parking instructions were lacking and confusing, especially if you hadn't used Soul Peppers before.
- New road closure outside Soul Peppers meant going the long way around. More congestion than I remember previously.
- Outdoor pool area advertised as part of hotel facilities was closed for scheduled maintenance during my entire stay.
- The room was not clean. Used dirty cup found under a bed. A sock in the dryer. Mould-like grimy silicone on the shower glass door. Light switches scratched & dirty. Fridge shelves dirty. Toilet hinges in the bathroom were green/grimy and filfthy. Fluff and dirt on bedroom carpets. Staining om back of couch. Large yellow stain on master bedroom carpet.
- Ensuite spa jets did not work. Bathroom toilet roll holder in an inaccessible position behind the toilet.
- 2 lounge room sofas were small and very uncomfortable.
- Advertised with the option of 3 king beds but was told unable. King bed in 2nd bedroom was not a genuine king but two king singles. Bed linen felt cheap and plastic like. Pillow covers slipped off as they were too big for the pillow size.
- Generally, the apartment felt tired and needed a refresh. Several wall pictures broken or damaged, etc.
