"Very nice place, the only downside is there were no blackout curtains. So in June, we were woken up very early by the light. Also from the children going to the school right next door. Other than that bed was comfy, very clean and had a very nice welcoming."

"This place is lovely but not ideal for children or babies .. on checking in had a lovely chap who carried my pram up as in carried the baby but you wouldn’t want to do 3/4 floors of stairs too often as there’s no lift. The fridge in my room didn’t work although it had drinks in .. so babies milk and food at to go in the chefs fridge . In the morning I struggled as no answer on the phone as needed I’ll for the baby . I then came down my self to find there was : staff on all in the restaurant...

"Great stay with very friendly staff and frequent cleaning/room turnover. It’s a lovely building in a really convenient location, but it is on a fairly busy road and whilst the rooms were nice, they aren’t the most modern. Downside were doors closing noisily in the morning and rooms being soooo warm (it was during the heatwave, but upgraded fans or aircon might be needed). I’d definitely recommend still."

"We made one request prior to check-in, as we had never stayed at a Pub before. As it was the World Cup, with team England in it, I had some concern that it might be noisy all night. Nothing could have been further from the truth. They were in the pub until all hours, but our room might have been in an isolated convent it was so quiet. One passed through a series of nearly air-tight doors along a corridor, and it became quiter and quiter. So it was the best of both worlds: have a great time...

"I like the cleanliness of our accommodation I chose this hotel because it has air conditioning that worked well the first night but second day it was broken and it was super hot outside so we didn’t sleep the second night asked for a fan but they didn’t have any even after they had known the air con was broken all day it was awful and alot of the guests were very unhappy hot and tired I think we should have a refund for the night we endured without the advertised air conditioning"
