"We only ate at the hotel in tbr evenings. It was two days befote we realised there was suplementary menu for evenings. We were in room 604. This neccessitated travelling from reception to the lifts to get to our room. Its painted black, its dark and poorly lit. Other guests referred to it as the dungeon. "The property was in a great location! Many restaurants and cafes, just outside the door, only a short walk (15min) to the river front. The room was fantastic, clean with plenty of space! Not a problem for us, but being a renovated older building, there is only stairs, no elevators - other travellers may need to know this. Otherwise a great place to stay in Porto!"

"What I liked 1. staff smiles. 2. Staff were mostly helpful What I did not like: 1. My security deposit is not returned yet after check out. The reception did not mention when it will be returned. I called them and they didn’t pick up the phone. They should inform me immediately . 2. The toilet water faucet at our room didn’t work properly 3. The reception did not pay attention to our online booking at 2pm. Our room was only ready one hour later."

"We had a beautiful, large room with windows overlooking the courtyard where the pool is (although the pool was not open for the season quite yet). Very quiet, comfortable and well-appointed. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The property is lovely. But most of all, I want to mention the friendly and gracious staff. They could not do enough to ensure we were happy with everything. I love that breakfast included the pouring of actual hot coffee rather than making it myself from a machine. I...

"Excellent location in Porto! Walking distance to every thing. Rooms are clean and pretty spacious for European standards. Hotel staff are friendly and go out of their way at to make sure you’re attended to. Nice hotel bar and Italian restaurant in the lobby area. Area outside the hotel can get loud. My room is we located in the back in the hotel. Blue zone. Which was nice and quieter. There’s a great local bar out front called Bar Aduela. It was packed every night! Worth checking out...

"Location: central, walkable to main sights, lovely shops and restaurants on next street, grocery stores close by Cleanliness: Spotless! Even inside cupboards and drawers were wiped clean. Maintenance was inspecting fire extinguishers. Property seems meticulously maintained. Amenities: small functional kitchen with everything we needed, washer/dryer were appreciated, outdoor terrace for relaxing. Would recommend!"

"Great space for our family of 4. Perfect location for walking just about anywhere. Front desk was always friendly and very accommodating for our early arrival. The bedrooms were nice size with big closets. The beds were our favorite of all 5 places we stayed - very comfortable! The space was well decorated and bright with all the windows. We were very comfortable for our 2 night stay."

"This accommodation is in the perfect spot in Porto, very centralized to walk down to the water and see all the landmarks. There is a cute wine bar right beside the entrance that’s is a great stop before returning home. The room was very clean and exactly like the description. Would highly recommend. Host was very responsive and everything went smoothly"
