"Everything was exceptional. The hospitality from Graham and Sheena was second to none. "Rooms are all in upper floors 2nd or above, no elevator/lifts made it difficult for elders. The rooms are well maintained. Water pressure/hot water is an issue."

"The best B & B I’ve stayed in. The host Helen is absolutely lovely, and fixes an amazing breakfast. The room was charming, well decorated, and had amenities such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. Tea, water and a couple snacks were also provided in the room. A wonderful place, I hope one day to return."

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"We had a wonderful and surprising stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Best sleep in a few days. We had the ensuite room which was very spacious and very comfortable. "We were greeted at the door by Liz (the owner along with her partner Lee) and immediately felt very welcomed. She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and it turned out to be a lovely suggestion. The home is well kept! At breakfast the next morning (which was quite tasty) we chatted with Lee and he gave us helpful perspectives on the area around us. We would have loved to have spent more than just one night!"
