"I want to give a really balanced view about The Stone House Hotel. I was staying for two nights on business and I found all of the colleagues that worked there to be extremely friendly and helpful. The food served is of a high quality. I had both the breakfast and items from their Indian menu - everything was really good. The downsides are: there is no air conditioning in the hotel. We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna"

"The hotel has some great amenities around it, mcdonalds right opposite - hungary horse next door and a mini tesco across the road. We stayed here for the races and the staff were fantastic. I met becka and a blonde woman on the reception and both were absolutely fantastic- so helpful, went above and beyond to help us and check us in as early as they could due to us needing to get ready and they were overall lovley people.
