We got an email with the checking in instructions, and they put a parking fob in our room so we could use the parking garage across the street (extra charge of $20 per day). "Great location. Easy walking distance to restaurants and beach. Art deco style building. Small room. We could hear people talking in next unit. Kept us awake both nights. They were not yelling just talking at a normal level but it sounded like they were in our room."

"Fun hotel! Great decor, had a great mix of art deco and fun concepts that tied in. Room was nice size, clean, comfortable bed. Restaurant was very good. Location is great, right by the park and the beach, but still quiet at night. "

"The Upsun hotel was a decent stay, however there could have been a lot more effort put into this hotel to make it enjoyable for guests. A few notable examples would be repairing the showers as they tend to leak and leave a mess on the floor. The fridge was also broken and not cold. The floors were not swapped in the rooms, and the stationary items such as the ice bucket and coffee maker were not cleaned. The phone was broken and there was very minimal WiFi connection. "The kitchenette was well equipped. Could have used some dish detergent and some more towels for hand washing dishes. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The temperature controls and cooling system worked very well and quietly. Check in and communicate very easy. The room needs more hooks and towel bars. No where to dry out wet bathing suits and beach towels. Room was larger than expected. WiFi excellent. "
