"Wow…that’s where I’ll start. Our experience with La Casa Cartujita was all that we hoped for on first ever trip to Columbia. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. The property was clean and oh the fragrance that so delicately and strategically circulated throughout La Casa was so divine that I had to ask about it. My husband would sometimes react to fragrances but had no issues there. The entire place felt like a haven after a full day of roaming the Walled City. And the cool room (Electra)...

"This was probably one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff was so amazing, kind and attentive. The rooms were perfect, clean and cherry. We had a balcony that overlooked the city and got to see and hear the city come alive at night. The rooftop restaurant has such good food and the views are breathtaking! They helped us get from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the port. I want to go back to go back to Cartagena for another visit and when I do, I will...

"Hotel was on an excellent location, the staff is amazing, the hotel is pretty clean , but would not considered a 5 as there were a few things that did not looked as clean; such as towels and sheets. Also, if you are a light sleeper and have any type of window or anything i do not considered 100% soundproof as i still heard some noise from surroundings. I would come back for the location and staff."

"Perfect location in the center of old town. Stunningly decorated and furnished - felt both modern and distinctly Colombian. The staff were truly outstanding, offering generous and friendly help at every turn. The breakfast is included and delicious. The rooms were perfectly air conditioned and had black out curtains, offering a welcome reprieve from the sun after a long day out and about. "Let me start with we could not find this hotel. Our Uber driver couldn’t find it. We had to walk around and Google Maps could not find it. Eventually had to call and get directions. Once we found it, check in went smooth. Location is great right in the center of the walled city. The balcony was nice to sit out and listen to the bands down the street. The breakfast was good. There was a language barrier but we were able to use Google Translate and get everything figured out."
