Honestly I am an avid traveler and Privado Designer Boutique Hotel was one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. Maria and every single staff member I came across was super nice, respectful and extremely helpful. On arrival at hey provide me with several coupons for near by restaurants and they were absolutely great places to eat at. Located in the heart of the city centre, Privado provided you with an escape from the heat, noise and vibrance of the city, allowing you a moment (or night) to re-energize and prepare for more sights and sounds of Cartagena. Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.

We loved staying here. The room was perfect size. Maria was very kind and helped us with all of our questions! All the staff were very welcoming. The location was not in the chaos of the city which made it peaceful to sleep. The pool was small but perfect for a quick dip from the Cartagena heat! We would definitely return!

The Provado Boutique Hotel was a great place to stay. Beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location near shops, restaurants, the ocean and clubs. I give 5 stars because I loved this place but must note: Coffee should always be included with rooms. Cold water shower is bearable. The Luxury Suite has hot and cold.

The property was just as gorgeous as depicted in the photos! It was in a quieter section of Centro Histórico, but close to the busier shopping streets and clubs. This part of Cartagena is so beautiful, full of cultural sites and experiences and is completely walkable for those capable of doing so. I appreciate the need to access the property with a door code as well, adds to the level of safety.
