"As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. "

"The hotel is an old, historic building with the rooms above the pub. It’s noisy until the pub closes each night, but we knew that going in, so it didn’t bother us. The staff employees were awesome! The room was clean and comfortable. The food was good. The location is great. There’s a bus stop close by that takes you to Heathrow to get on the Tube. "

"Given the price and location, I wasn’t expecting a great deal to be honest, however I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and a swift check in and the room was clean and well presented. What surprised me most was despite the proximity to the airport and being on the flight path, I honestly didn’t hear a single plane taking off. My only negative was the fact that I’m a two-pillow sleeper and we only had one pillow each. A minor gripe but not enough to deduct any stars. Overall very pleased...
