"The room was spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was spotless with a deep bath, shower, and plenty of hot water. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Having an area outside with our own garden table and chairs was great. Would certainly stay again. "

"The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here"

"The hotel was lovely staff very friendly and helpful. Free hot drinks available 24hrs and water. Our first time taking our new puppy on holiday so pet friendly also which was great for us with the children also. The breakfast buffet was amazing lots of choice available. Our children didn’t make it down for breakfast as was by 10am. But the staff game us a takeaway box to put a croissant in each for them so was really nice. There was entertainment on the terrace music playing which was lovely...

"The Devon Hotel is very easy to find - located just off a roundabout (with excellent Teslas charging nearby). Perfect for travelling off to the Torbay area.Although near the road, the hotel is quiet. Lots of parking, but does get busy in the week evenings. Superb breakfast and really helpful friendly staff. Comfortable bed, lots of hot water and everything working as expected. So I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would happily rebook if I visit this area again. "

"The lobby, bar and restaurant have an elegant and timeless feel. I loved relaxing on the terrace with a cup of tea and a book. The room was large but my air conditioner didn’t work and the bed felt worn/old. I mentioned it to the desk and they put a mattress topper on the bed which really fixed the issue. The windows opened and in late August with the fan in the room - I was comfortable. The comfort of the rest of the hotel and the fantastic sauna, pool and hot tub made up for the bed and air...
