"The hotel exceeded expectations for comfort and food service. It also provided free shuttle service to the airport. The only drawback, if one has to spend anything more than an overnight, is that there is absolutely nothing in the immediate area of interest. You would have to get transportation if you wanted to go further afield. However, we were aware of that and it suited our purpose. "

"My third or fourth stay at this hotel and unfortunately it is not keeping the quality it offered in previous stays. Staff is friendly and helpful but the facility maintenance is not keeping up. Noisy aircon, broken sensor in elevator. Water faucet at public toilet wobbly. Yet - the location is great. Plenty of entertainment, attractions and food within walking distance. "First off, I am an American so I have that point of view. The hotel reminds me of old Hollywood. It is a classic with tons of history that is showing it's age. I liked it a lot, my wife not so much. It was clean and the staff was great. The bed was hard and we never did figure out the AC system. It is in the Muslim district which we hadn't anticipated, but was no problem and everyone treated great. It's noisy outside, but that is living in any city. These are difficult times in Israel...
