Hotels near Emerald Bay Beach

"This hotel was just what we were looking for. The location was ideal! It was walking distance to Laguna Beach where my kids enjoyed boogie boarding. We were able to check out beach chairs and umbrellas which was awesome at the front desk. My kids (13 and 14) could walk to get food in either direction. We were next to a beautiful park that had the best walking paths to enjoy the ocean and smaller beaches that we took full advantage of each morning for sunrise and sunset. The spa and pool was perfect to unwind at after being at the beach. You can see a sliver of the ocean if you sit in the right chaise lounge. We enjoyed the wine and cookies provided in the evenings and the fire pit once the sun went down. Our room was clean. The front desk was friendly and the decor in the lobby was so California. We loved being at a small property near the downtown area so everyone could do as they please. We would stay here again for the value and location due to the simple fact we want to enjoy the art galleries and ocean and not be with large amounts of people staying at the same place. "

"The beach view was nice; however, our sink broke, and we did not get help until we were checking out. Someone also threw up in the elevator, and it was poorly cleaned hours later, after we had to call the front desk to inform them. "

"Great location and quaint but old and outdated for the price. Bed was comfortable. The Sun set right behind an air conditioner unit. Bathrooms are not charming they are old from the 60’s or 70’s. Demolition/Construction right outside the balcony window which was not disclosed when booking. Earplugs on the night stands is never a good sign but very necessary. "

"Decent property. Very helpful staff. Clean room but furniture is simple and dated. Biggest complaint is the tight and limited parking, which seems to be the norm for the area, but make sure to try and get a 2nd floor room as the building is not well insulated for noise. I heard every step taken above my room. Being right on PCH adds to the noise, hence why they provide ear plugs."
