"TL;DR: Chill, low-energy resort with good food but notable issues. Only one main pool (second is paid “Reserve”). Nights are quiet—most guests are in by 10:30. Activities fill quickly, so arrive early or risk being turned away. Resort even ran out of tequila one day. Biggest concern: money was stolen from our room by staff, and management was dismissive and failed to honor compensation. Highlights: Beautiful, well-maintained lobby and beach area. Great daytime activities (tequila/wine tastings, water aerobics, bocce). Food overall was strong—Santé was the standout, plus great guac, snacks, and pool burritos. Fire dance show was a highlight. Lowlights: Wi-Fi is weak, TVs outdated. Room had multiple maintenance issues (loose shower fixture, temp fluctuations, cracked mirror) and got uncomfortably hot at night. Bed was lumpy. Constant water noise in room. Room service was poor (cold, bland, low quality), though the club sandwich was decent. Several restaurants underwhelmed—especially Mexican and Italian—while Asian and buffet were average. Pool bar understaffed but manageable. Sky Bar was essentially non-operational when we visited. Other concerns: Limited sustainability efforts and questionable animal welfare on the beach. Major issue: Money was stolen from our room by staff. Management was dismissive, offered a credit, then refused to honor it—leaving a very negative final impression."

"Our stay at Krystal Grand Los Cabos was exceptional from start to finish. My wife and two kids truly enjoyed every moment. The atmosphere was welcoming, the drinks were well-crafted, and the Grill restaurant stood out as a highlight with excellent quality and service. While the buffet could use some improvement, it did not take away from the overall experience. What made the trip even more memorable was the outstanding staff—their professionalism, attentiveness, and hospitality did not go unnoticed. Overall, a fantastic family getaway, and we look forward to returning."

"Top of the line service and the hotel creates an experience for the travel the entire stay. Staff is very attentive and professionally trained for the most demanding guest. Child care services are top notch. Highly recommend you go and stay several extra days long than you want to. "

"Room is in need of some updating; view was amazing from our room- saw whales from the patio, staff was very courteous and went above and beyond. Not gonna lie, the walking was hard. There are golf carts that will pick you up and take you wherever on property but sometimes it was not worth it for a short distance. I probably lost weight on this vacation due to all the walking uphill. Overall- it was a relaxing 4 days and will miss the sound of the waves crashing until my next visit."

"This is an amazing property. Love the architecture and overall property design. Kudos for making everything handicap accessible. My villa was fantastic. The ocean views are amazing (saw whales a number of times. Pools are spacious and great. Contina restaurant has great food. Was a little noisy due to construction (be aware but it didn't change my rating). Beach is great although water is only swimmable by strong, experienced swimmers. Overall, definitely a 6 star experience. "
