"Pools were awful and on each of them there seemed to be something unpleasant floating in them. The “band” playing live music was unbearably loud to the point where our party couldn’t have a conversation. It went on for hours and hours daily. We could even hear it in our room with the door balcony door shut. The rooms very outdated, bed linen not always clean, bathroom could do with a new shower curtain. The plug sockets were so old that plugs would continuously fall out. Would never return. The staff were friendly and polite "

"Excellent Stay and Incredible Value! I had a wonderful experience at Le Cid Castilla. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent—definitely a highlight of the trip. While the buffet is good, ordering a la carte at all the restaurants is definitely the way to go for the best experience. Our room was good overall; the only minor issue was that the air conditioning wasn't very strong in our specific room. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it could have been better. I highly recommend upgrading to the Elite Club. Access to the Millionaire Club for premium drinks is totally worth the extra fee and truly elevates the stay. If you are looking for the best deal, I suggest looking for promotions during the off-season to get a fantastic price. Highlights: Dining: A la carte options are a must-try. Service: Exceptional and friendly staff. Perks: Premium drinks at the Millionaire Club. Value: Great prices, especially if you find an off-season promotion. Minor Note: Air conditioning in some rooms could be a bit more powerful."

"Extremely disappointing visit after coming here for past 15 years. Never had a hot shower, broken shower head. The hotel was empty and customer service was nonexistent; no one seemed to care. Poolside restroom out of service entire week both men and women’s room. Difficult to sleep with overly noisy ac fan. Had to shut off. Repairs requested to no avail. Pool water boiling hot. We are done. Not the place we used to love. We will not be back."

"Our room had a kitchen and balcony and looked over the harbour. The view was amazing. The pool that we used the most was close, with a swim up bar and restaurant, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful flowers and you could see the masts of the ships in the harbour. The restaurant closest to us had a different ethnic or theme of buffet each night such as BBQ, Mexican, Italian, and Asian with a live keyboardist . The food was great! Each night we would look over the harbour and watch the sunset while eating. The shuttle boat provided excellent regular service taking us to and from the beach which was my favourite spot with the sand, shaded lounge chairs and warm ocean. The resort provided toys for the kids to play with on the beach and the all inclusive restaurant and drinks were also on the beach. The premises and staff were perfect; warm and inviting with excellent service."
