"The rooms and food were great. The service was very ok. At Comal the food was very slow and they never checked in for drink orders or to fill waters. Not a great experience for a 300 dollar dinner. Same thing at breakfast. The pool service didn’t clear chairs when people left. The service got better towards the end but overall was disappointing for the price. One and only or las Ventanas are much better places to stay. "

"This is a top tier resort. All 4 of the premium restaurants had several outstanding options, and food presentation was very high. The drinks were also exceptional, in presentation, preparation, and selection. Top shelf name brand choices of almost every bottle you can imagine. The beds were comfy, the pools were clean, the crowds were well managed, and the grounds are spotless.
Negatives? Not many really, but the tipping is odd. Even if you are all-inclusive, you need to 'charge out' for...

"One of the most beautiful properties we’ve been to! Pricing is a little extra extravagant, but you get what you pay for! The recreation center at the beach is a blast, food was delicious, staff is exceptional, and even the yoga classes were great! Highly recommend the sea-bobs, snorkeling, and paddle boarding.
