"We really enjoyed our stay at The Little George! Geoff was super kind and helpful, showed us to our room. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean, lovely bathroom with a big shower (the included toiletries smelled amazing too!). "Staff excellent, room very small no chair or even room for bags. Wifi in room also poor. Bar food and service excellent and the welcome pack and light breakfast choice good. Clean but the building is ageing. The steps to the rooms really need to be illuminated or there will be a fall"

"I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave."

I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. "This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. The place looks neglected from the moment you arrive, the parking area was full of rubbish and broken items and generally felt unsafe. Inside things didn't improve. The room had clearly not been properly cleaned or updated in years. the ventilation fan was covered in dust and grime, and the walls had marks and stains all over them. "It was extremely disappointing to discover that the photos on the website did not reflect the reality of the property. Upon arrival, the house looked nothing like what was advertised. I had booked a room for two people, but the space was far too small to comfortably accommodate us. On top of that, the entire house was unclean, which made the stay even more unpleasant.
