"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. "The room was a little tired but this was to be expected at Stafford's oldest inn! The food was good, as was breakfast. However, it was the staff who made the stay memorable. Both ladies were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us, even holding our baby for a while when we ate dinner so we could use both our hands! We would happily stay here again."

"Staff were friendly. Had the three course Sunday dinner in the restaurant which was lovely. The bar had wood burners so was nice and snug. The room was to a high standard. We opted for breakfast in bed which again was good quality and generous. Free car parking just off the M6. "

"A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building."

"I did not use restaurant. Although i did use Latte coffee machine 👌. Room was comfortable, bed extremely so👌. All room facilities were great. Staff very friendly & helpful. As a solo traveler i felt safe. Parking the only issue due to its proximity to Trentham Garden, restaurants & shops. People openly parking in hotel parking spaces & walking over to the shops. "
