"This is not just a hotel, it is a Maritime Club, with special offers and support for Navel personnel... The building and rooms are currently undergoing refurbishment and I will hopefully be back to see it when it is finished. Wonderful staff, qwerky and delightful, great clean accessable room... "The room was clean, pleasant and windows you could open! The beds were very comfy.
We enjoyed our small evening snack, breakfast and lunch dishes.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
I enjoyed the pool and sauna. They don't have a jacuzzi but a refreshing jacuzzi type cool pool to use after the sauna.
We loved the calm and Monet-esque gardens and look forward to our next visit when the outdoor pool and flowers are out.

"Breakfast needs more choice especially the fruit, the pears were hard as rock, no bananas, no fruit salad. No beans for ages, they need to keep an eye on the hotplates. Invest in a coffee machine so there's a variety. Maybe also a bell at the downstairs bar.
