"Convenient location. Our room was clean and comfortable and on the ground floor which was appreciated. Parking onsite. The hotel had great food for dinner, we didn’t try the breakfast. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. There was no fridge in the room which would have been nice as we were travelling and had food with us."

"Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed "

"Collesio Hotel is in a superb location for seeing many of Stirlings historic sights. Few minutes walk from exceptional restaurants and pubs. Parking is available, few free, mostly paid at an immediately adjacent lot. The Hotel is in an historic building and there is a lovely bar/lounge area as you walk in. That is also where checkin is! "Check in was efficient, staff very helpful and attentive. A stunning place with lots of quiet spaces. The breakfast was superb. It is however a bit jaded though. The blind in the room was broken and tap needed replaced. Overall it was a lovely experience and well worth the money paid"

"Very large, clean and comfortable room. Staff were outgoing and attentive to any of our needs. I was hoping for a more authentic castle experience, but furnishings were basic and a bit worn out. The restaurant service was slow due to under-staffing, but the staff were all friendly and engaging and the food was good. Overall, a comfortable stay, but don't expect much of an experience."

"This was a very cute little inn above the pub! That definitely gave the stay character, unfortunately it meant the noise could be heard from the pub below. This really wasn't a major problem though, as around 10:00 pm it was all but quite. The property is very convenient and right in the down town! The staff were fantastic! Very helpful and made us feel welcomed!"

"Both the single room and the bathroom were of a good size and clean. The window however was dirty and difficult to open and close. The original mechanism was replaced with a simple hinge and nail. With the window being fairly high up, it was impossible to lift it in and out of the hinge without climbing on a chair. This in itself can be dangerous."
