"The best hotel we have ever stayed in. Cromlix is situated in a lovely setting, each room in the house has been tastefully decorated and dressed. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and put you at ease from the very beginning. The food options are a step above for evening dining and at breakfast. "Comfy room, tea / coffee making facilities, hairdryer and iron provided which was great. Comfy bed and spacious room. Breakfast good and free parking is great. Only downside is there are no electric car chargers which was disappointing and caused us some inconvenience. "

"Immaculate accommodation, exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. Good coffee pod machine with fresh milk which was a nice touch. Good shower and toiletries. Very centrally located to all amenities, including shops and train/bus stations. Cheap car parking for £3.50/day at the train station. Only slight niggles were strange clicking noises coming from fridge and would have liked an earlier check in time. Aside from that, we very much enjoyed our stay. "

"The parking lot is small so , try to get a place by arriving not so late. We arrived very late , maybe 11pm - 12am , but SOMEONE left the key at the front desk with a note, we never saw anyone because we left the hotel very early in the morning, it was nice , we stayed at a basement room tho "

"I received an email from the host with accurate check-in information 1 day prior to check in. The breakfast was very minimal with toast being the only hot food offered. The windows in the room opened, allowing a nice breeze. The bed was soft and moderately comfortable. The view of the Sterling streets was nice and the property is within a 15 minute walk of the sterling castle. Be advised of spiral staircases making it difficult to get luggage larger than carry-on size up to the room. "
