"I went at the end of season but car park with the hostel was available and easy access. Room was en-suite which I wasn't expecting for a hostel but made the stay so much easier and hospitable. a large group staying there at same time but no noise from them, made an enjoyable stay"

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "

"This was my 3rd brief stay.Each time,I have been welcomed & made to feel my visit matters to reception & waiting & bar staff. The room is chosen to protect me from the live music in the bar ,as I have requested .The rooms are very clean even if the carpet is a bit well -trodden.As a woman on my own, I have felt comforted by the friendly & helpful attitudes of everyone i have come across during my stays. "Ample parking, warm welcome from reception. Clean and warm room. Breakfast was busy but plenty of food which was fresh and hot. Staff clearing dining room were excellent and clearing tables super quick. My only slight grumble was the mattress. My husband and I both felt like we were rolling into the middle all night. Apart from that, an excellent stay and a lovely hotel. "

"This was a great experience. Friendly staff. Indian restaurant was amazing. Great service and will definitely stay again. Things to remember, they don't do breakfast but there are cafes and a hotel across the road for breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked for staying but a little dated. Very comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel "

"We stayed in room 6 which was clean and comfortable with a comfy bed, room was warm when we returned back. Check out was 11am, breakfast room was lovely, great choice of continental breakfast from cereal, toast to croissants and pain au chocolates, tea and coffee. Will definitely be back "
