"Newly decorated room so pristine. Mattress coukd be better as a topper isn't the answer to everything especially on a soft mattress. The bath was big enough for me to gain my 25m breast stroke badge!"

"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "We stayed at Hogwarts before a cycling event called Chase the Sun. We couldn't have been happier, Rosie welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around. We had access to a full kitchen with a full array of snacks, tea/coffee available to us 24/7. The room we booked had ample space for our bikes and kit in the conservatory that was attached to the bedroom. The property was nice, calm and quiet; the perfect environment to prep for the 205mile bike ride that was facing us the next morning. The...

"Excellent stayover before heading to the Shuttle. The most impressive thing isthe beautiful smell when you walk in and the cleanliness of the reception area. I think the parking charge is a bit excessive though as it is £12.50 a night. "

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."

"Perfect for parkrun. Comfortable bed, clean and a great shower. Room was dated and had a trouser press! I enjoyed my stay and the breakfast."
