"The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. "

"There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. "What an absolute gem of a property! I come to Hove for business and have always stayed quite some distance away (Hayward Heath) due to the lack of secure parking at most properties in the area. So to find this fabulous property so close to my customer’s site was fantastic. Off street parking on the drive of the property means no hunting for a parking space. "Look it was a hell of lot cheaper than what I could find. I had no problem with the place although I can see why people would have. I wanted somewhere to crash and have a shower. Stayed for four nights. If you want quality look elsewhere, If you want friendly staff, good breakfast, a clean bed and a reasonable bathroom you can't fault it."

"Too many notes telling you not to scratch things. It was nothing like as described on website. Spoon holding the window fastener, other windows held together with duck tape. . Felt damp in there so needed heat. Bedding wasn’t Egyptian cotton, bottom sheet was pea green. Tap just dribbled water out of wash basin. Lane and track down to property was terrible, full of holes. We didn’t stay for breakfast or to sleep there."

"You need sharp eyesight to see the hotel as it's right on the roundabout. It was perfectly placed for where we needed to be the next day. Parking was not a problem. The room was an odd shape and in need of new carpet. The doors are fire doors and they really did Bang shut every time someone came in our out of the coach house. "Large club room Great view over golf course with roomy balcony. Fab pool, and if you have an EV, easy parking and charging. Had a really good dinner with great service in the brassiere, though a bit quiet. Perfect!"

"Some of the furniture in the room was slightly old fashioned but it was very clean and tidy and suited us perfectly as a family of 3. We were provided with tea and coffee making products and there was cutlery and a table and chairs to eat in the room, if necessary. The breakfast was nice and the host was friendly and kind. We would stay here again ☺️"
