"A gen of a stay! We had the "Crab Apple" room, at the rear of the building, on first floor over top of the kitchen (?). Very quiet apart from the rattling bath exhaust fans of the room. Apparently those can be switched off, but we never found the switch. No other sounds st all in the room. Comfy bed, good cooked breakfast, and great staff. We also enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the very good on-site restaurant. Easy walk to the nearby art gallery and to the beaches."

"Could of had on site entertainment as way up on top of cliff , also on site restaurant closes at 5pm , Otherwise clean with friendly staff , who were very helpful. Good range of breakfast options too."

"Stayed at the Orchid over the bank holiday. We had a heatwave and was thankful the rooms had Air Con! Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. One room very nice, had queen bed maybe that was executive. Other room was a little small and did have some stains on the carpet, needed touching up. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Hotel foyer and bar done very nicely and a pretty courtyard area. Have to pay for parking but it’s a great location and parking is a nightmare in Bournemouth. 5-10 min...

"Hotel is great but there is not enough staff woring at the reception an in the morning/breakfast time at the restaurant there is also not enough staff working which is bit hectic. There are 4 desks at the reception and only 1 or sometimes 2 receptionist are serving customers which make us wait for long. Restaurant is nice. Breakfast time -English basic breakfast is served but lunch time dinner has more to offer. Gym/Spa is very nice and walkig distance to the beach is also great."

"The hotel had a nice indoor pool, a good breakfast and the staff were all helpful and friendly. It’s a short walk to the seafront and into town. Our room was in the lodge - a separate building but adjacent to main hotel, all clean and a decent sized room. Small print stuff…Our parking was chargeable but I think I read somewhere that it’s free if you book directly with the hotel. We also paid a £50 refundable deposit per room per night."

"Breakfast was delicious, easy parking, there’s also an overflow parking on the other side of the road (sister hotel). We stayed in York, room was clean, enjoyed the jacuzzi, however the mattress needs an upgrade. Overall great stay! "
