Great hotel.
Well maintained and well presented.
Very welcoming and helpful staff.
The Jewels in the crown of Hotel Miramar are it's beautiful well kept front Gardens, patio area and stunning sea views.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms cleanliness was very good.
Location of the Hotel is close to sea front, and the wonderful Russell Cotes house. But be aware it is on the top of the cliffs and therefore a steep climb back from the Pier.
The hotel is a traditional British hotel, with the majority of guests are older.
The Hotels decor and furnishings are warn.
My beds mattresses dipped in the middle.
The rooms TV had very poor reception and even after attempting to returned only a few channels were watchable, but they were still pixilated.
With such a wonderful patio to sit on and enjoy a drink it's such a shame that the bar area and inside seating area is so uninviting. I was also shocked to find out at check out that a 10% service charge was added to my bar bill when I collected all our drinks from the bar and I had to wait to be served between a bar full of empty glasses.
If a waiter had taken orders and brought drinks to us at our table on the patio a service charge would have been appropriate.
Charges for Breakfast are not opaque, it seems of you book direct breakfast is included. But if you book via Expedia etc then Breakfast is £17.50, but they then add 10% a service charge on top.
Breakfast itself is good, but 1/4 of a slice of fried bread is tight and as its deep fried an altogether toast would be good.
Lovely hotel and gardens, fab views. Spacious rooms with contemporary bathrooms - loved the Rituals toiletries! Nice location on the East Cliff overlooking the sea
Unlike a lot of modern hotels these days, this venue has a nice gentle atmosphere and you feel that you stepped back in time, great people, good location, and just comfortable
Beautiful nostalgic hotel overlooking the sea. Very quiet and relaxing, good service and immaculate room, clean and bright. Would definitely stay again if looking for a peaceful stay.
A great choice of hotel, as we were visiting our daughter at university. The hotel was very welcoming, clean and well appointed and we were easily able to walk into town
Hotel is superb. Room with private balcony exceptional. Hotel is in wonderful location. Beautiful gardens down to beachfront and only few minutes walk to the pier and gardens.
Staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Couldn’t fault the food, so much choice and delicious.
Attractive hotel. Room was pleasant but didnt sleep well as there was some kind of generator or similar on the wall right next to the window which was going off all through the night. Only had one meal at the hotel which was nice. Staff were professional and friendly.
First of all, the staff were so lovely - the gentleman that greeted me was so friendly and helpful, he really brought a smile to my face. He was also the person that bid me farewell as I left and was just as pleasant then, leaving me with a really great impression. The room was small, but very clean and totally perfect for a solo traveller like me. I entered through the carpark/street side of the hotel and was totally oblivious to the view out the front of the hotel until the next morning - what a beautiful surprise. The weather was a bit grey and drizzly, but the view out over the sea was really breathtaking - don't miss it! Would 100% recommend this place to anyone.
Very nice hotel is a great location which is accessible to anywhere you would want to go. Pleasantly surprised about how good the hotel was and all the amenities.
Hotel staff were absolutely great, especially front desk very welcoming!.
Would definitely stay again for next Bournemouth visits, bit of a classic British hotel feel.
