"What I liked about this hotel is that it’s a well-known place where you can easily get a taxi or Uber, and pickups are quick and hassle‑free.
However, the shower room had some mold that wasn’t properly cleaned, which is why I gave this rating.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a quiet stay. It’s better suited for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere or for families travelling...

"The only hotel in the world to cable car me in. And maybe my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. Very relaxing as no internet in rooms and I read and listened to waterfall. Heaps of room to do yoga."

"I stayed two nights at the Heritance Tea Factory hotel. As soon as I arrived I was amazed by the scenery, it looks just exactly the same as the photo, surrounded by tea plantations with a great with of the mountains from afar. It is a bit of a drive from the town but it was nice to be in somewhere very peaceful and scenic. They have a lovely welcome ritual and tea. The hotel still has the engines from the factory days and they runs every night for 30 mins. It is full of stories in this hotel....

"Fantastic property and fantastic experience. We have nothing but high praise. Loved the family unit with the tent on top and separate room downstairs for the kids. Here’s a word of warning though regarding getting there….its not an easy ride up from the village on a very narrow very poorly maintained road. Not for the faint hearted. It also takes a good 30 minutes especially if you need to use the tuk tuks to get up."

"Häftigt ställe med känslan av att vara i vildmarken. Maten tog lite tid men var helt fantastik god. Poolområdet var härligt med tanke på värmen! "
