"Check in staff did not make us feel welcome, provide any orientation of the property or how to get to the rooms. Treated me like a criminal and made me pay two different deposits one for each room despite both rooms booked on the same reservation. Room was dirty, lamp shades were bent and damaged, no toilet paper and the TV didn't work. I have never had to pay a deposit on a room ever, and this place was so run down. I booked three nights and only stayed one, had it not been so late and hadn't...

"This was a comfortable, relaxed, quiet atmosphere with beautiful well kept grounds. Of course, everything in the central part of Taos portrayed the "southwest" style including this property. Location is excellent by being in walking distance of the Plaza, shopping and restaurants.
We will definitely keep El Pueblo on our "stay at" list on our next trip to Taos."

"Room was very nice and bed was comfortable. Hotel breakfast was convenient and good. Hotel was in a great location to town! Traveled and stayed here solo and never felt unsafe at the property. I would recommend anybody to stay here and will book again!"

"Very helpful and friendly staff..especially the Parking attendant Richard who appears to play multiple roles...he is a true customer service person...Kudos to him!
Not crazy about the breakfast experience..staff appears to be hassled, overworked and distracted. Orders are not always completed accurately. Need improvement in this area."
