"Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Part of this facility is old school Florida with low buildings and outdoor entry. Don’t be fooled by the pictures that every room has a beachfront view. Rooms are updated, beds/ pillows comfortable, however the walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors TV late into the night and early morning wake up! Breakfast was typical hotel selection and the staff there was very friendly and greeting everyone like family."

"The stay was fine but the hotel is old and needs updating. Molding on the walls was coming off and hanging in the kids room. The breakfast was hot and the menu was diverse. The hot tub was blocked off with caution tap when we were there. I would stay there again because of the kids room setup with the two twin beds and a king. "

Our room had a toilet that was unfortunately clogging, and the air conditioning unit was quite loud. Addressing these issues could enhance the overall experience for future guests."

"We enjoyed the amenities on the property. The bar staff employee Charles was great. The rooms need a remodel, there was a distinct smell every time we walked into the room. I do wish housekeeping came In daily to freshen up the room. The food in the hotel restaurant was just mediocre. I also wish the room had two full beds instead of a pull out sofa. Also the walls were very thin and we could hear everything outside the room. "

"Came down for spring break as a solo mom with two kids ages 9 and 7. We originally booked the Beachside Hotel and upon checking we immediately checked out and got a last minute room at Westgate for 4 nights. The front desk crew was super welcoming to us (thanks Ro and Amy) and when we got to our super clean suite with big comfy beds we were so relieved! The next day the resort looked even better in the daylight. The beach spot is fantastic, you can rent chairs and umbrellas and boogie boards...
