"This was our first time staying here while in Aurora. Rooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. Would definitely come back and stay here again on our next trip."

"I arrived late at night to check in and the front desk attendant didn't greet me nicely. He just said - "I need your ID and card." It was not a warm welcome after a really long travel day. I also didn't appreciate needing to pay for parking at the hotel. I would have used the free parking down the road but it was very late and I sensed a sketchy area so I didn't want to walk alone for my safety. It was also raining. The fire alarm went off very early in the morning. I went to the lobby in my pajamas and waited with the other guests. The staff didn't address us or let us know the issue was being solved. They didn't even tell us if it was a real fire or not. While the alarm was going off, I got a coffee and muffin from the cafe. It would have been nice if we were given free coffee as a courtesy for the extremely unpleasant morning. The muffin was not warmed all the way through and the inside custard was cold. I did not enjoy my experience and would likely not book again."

"If you stay here, everything was good, except!!! Do not watch a movie. The system doesn’t tell you that a movie is $25 . You click on a movie, the screen flashes $25 and the movie starts. I pitched a fit and got the charge removed. Other than the movie scam the stay, four days, was great. Breakfast was very good. Staff was good. Movie was a world class rip off."

"It was honestly disappointing returning to the Inverness after staying here on our honeymoon 22 years ago. Back then, the hotel had warmth, great energy, and memorable food — sadly, much of that feels gone now. The seafood buffet is gone, breakfast was underwhelming, and the hospitality was lacking. We had to get our own water, find silverware and napkins from another table, and during the entire meal no server checked on us once. It genuinely felt like we were invisible. My wife and I are very low-maintenance people, and we always try to be understanding. But part of staying at a hotel is paying for an experience where you can relax and feel taken care of. I wanted to order coffee and even had cash ready for a generous tip, but after being repeatedly overlooked while staff walked past our table, I gave up. It left us feeling unwelcome and reflected poorly on the overall management experience. We came back hoping for nostalgia and a chance to celebrate, but the stay was unfortunately very “meh.” Honestly, we could have stayed at a less expensive hotel and likely received friendlier service. To make matters worse, the coffee maker in our room didn’t work the next morning. I contacted staff and never received a response. It’s disappointing to spend this kind of money and leave feeling let down instead of refreshed."
