"The Ameristar Black Hawk is a great place to stay whether you plan to gamble or not. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Not sure how they were able to build it in the middle of the mountains. Large parking garage connected to the hotel and multiple restaurants onsite. We stayed one night on our way from Idaho Springs to Estes Park."

"We didn't eat in the hotel other than grabbing some egg bites and coffee at the Strabucks. Everything about our stay was clean, comfortable, and proximety to Coors Field was a plus. The staff texted every day to make sure we had what we needed which was nice. We'll be back."

"The staff was amazing. All of them were very professional and accommodating. The hotel itself was beautiful and luxurious as advertised. We had a pleasant stay. The only complaint I could think of is that the motel behind it is extremely ghetto and unsafe to walk by but that isn’t even in The Renaissance’s control, it’s more of an unfortunate circumstance. That being said I absolutely would recommend staying at the Renaissance and would 100% return to stay for future vacations in Denver."

"Loved this historic grand old hotel that just exudes turn of the century charm and grandeur…not the 20th century, the 19th. It is like a snapshot of the history of the west with short walking distance to the historic Glenwood Springs Hot Springs and the Yumpah Vapor Caves. The main restaurant was also excellent. It was a favorite of Teddy Roosevelt, who visited often when the urge to shoot something with fur struck him. The best word I can think of to describe the Hotel Colorado is, authentic. "

"Really well done. One minor point, the 100 rooms have 6 steps up from the lobby, not elevator accessible or wheel cart available. All of our belongings had to be hand carried in. The Taco Tuesday and live entertainment was unexpectedly great! Thank you all."
