"We stayed here for one night en route to the wine area. Great place to break our journey after driving from Prince Albert, via Swartberg Pass and Cango Caves. Enjoyed a drink on terrace watching sunset over the mountains, before having a lovely meal, cooked and served by the owners. Breakfast on terrace was fresh and tasty too"

While booking a series of properties for a tour of the western cape I failed to notice that the calendar on the third booking, Rietfontein, had reverted to the current date this year instead of the date we reqd for next year. "The lady of the house was very accommodating, the room was very clean, great bed and bed sheets, blankets and pillows. The breakfast was very good. The thing which really threw me off was that the room was advertised as "Partially open bathroom, free toiletries, and a shower" - it turned out this means that the toilet is in the same room where the bed is, there is no walls around it, or anything like that.
