"An absolute gem of a hotel right in the heart of the "old town" area near Kloof Street. Beautiful colonial style design with fantastic local artwork throughout, amazing (cool) pool, honesty bar, secure on street parking (security watchmen at all times) and the most amazing helpful staff I've ever had at a hotel - emails and information on things to do, restaurants etc was outstanding. A really brilliant hotel in every way!"

"Everything was wonderful! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The Italian restaurant was fantastic—easily one of the highlights of our stay. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and I highly recommend taking some time to walk through the gardens. You may even spot a tortoise or two along the way! "Very nice all round hotel in a great location, it also has the benefit of an Hussars restaurant attached.
This is a great hotel at a sensible price considering it’s position in Franschhoek.
Have stayed here many times and will continue to use this hotel on my visits. "
