"Had a fantastic few days here. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Whenever we asked they always provided an answer to our requests promptly and happily. Charlotte was incredibly informative and passionate in answering our local questions of which her knowledge was invaluable to us. Lovely room we had, being hyper critical it is an old building so the bathroom layout meant you couldn't really have a shower, so bathing it was instead. Had a wonderful stay, highly recommended. "This was a really lovely, quaint pub in a perfect rural setting. The beer garden area captured the sun all day. Breakfast was great. The entrance to use in the evening could be lit up better as it felt unsafe being alone. The cleanliness of the rooms also needs to be reviewed as it let it down. The bed was lovely and comfy with great pillows and fluffy duvet. I would stay again."

"An overnight dtay for the Hay festival. The first time i have stayed at a B&B in over 40years. OML how wonderful my stay was, fabulous hosts Fiona and James plus the gorgeous dogs'! Super room, very comfortable and everything one could wish for. Such attention to detail. The breakfast which was a 'full English' was the best breakfast i have had in a very long time, with all either home made or locally sourced. Fiona's granola with yoghurt and berries so very tasty. A beautiful home. All superb....

"Would have been excellent but for the room (twin bed) we stayed in. It was so hot we had to have a fan on all night, even with balcony doors open. Also, the entrance door had obviously been damaged, the jamb was loose! No effort had been made to repair."
