England's Gate and Coachhouse

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely friendly staff. Able to check in early which was great. The pub the accommodation is connected to is wonderful - excellent food and great surroundings. The room could have done with a more thorough clean - the were dust bunnies under the bed. The bathroom needs an update. But it was clean enough. Comfortable beds. Be aware that the โ€˜windowโ€™ in the bedroom is the top half of the stable door, so we could not leave it open for air at night, however there was a small window above that could be left open, and another small window in the bathroom. Just glad we didnโ€™t stay in the height of the heatwave. There was a fan in the room and it had been left running which was thoughtful. The breakfast room was well stocked and it was great to be able to help ourselves in the morning to what we wanted. I would definitely book the accommodation again without hesitation."

Stourport Manor Hotel

Stourport Manor Hotel

8/10 Good
"Nice independent run hotel at about the level of a Holiday Inn. Rooms are an adequate size for two to share. Some of the exterior is it showing its age around the back facing on to the sports facilities which are apparently not maintained to a level to currently in use. Restaurant evening menu and bar have a wide selection of options, and the morning breakfast buffet has a good wide selection. There is also a range of good restaurants and pubs within a short distance if you don't want to use the on-site offering. Would I stay again? Yes."

"A quaint old fashioned inn. Amenities a bit dated but all functioning. Bath with jets was a plus. Loved the provision of bottled water and little biscuits. Breakfast was a lovely continental affair. Only downside was the winding staircases that made taking luggage up and down difficult."
