"There's simply no reason to spend the money to stay here. There are many comparable hotels in Po'ipu or elsewhere on Kaua'i. It's the kind of place that's designed to extract every last dollar from you and provide only mediocrity in return. The coffee was particularly bad.
The place was also not that clean and in a state of disrepair. The hot tub frequently had a dirty film on the surface of the water or large clumps of hair. The steps down the the beach were broken, and instead of promptly...

"We had an incredible stay at the Mailani Tower! The ocean view from the room was amazing. The drive up to the hotel is breathtaking and really makes you feel live you've arrived in a secret jungle. The RH is such a well-maintained and beautiful historic property. Close to busy areas of Waikiki, but as soon as you get to the hotel, it's so peaceful and lush. All hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks on property were amazing as were the spa services."
