"Very good hotel and value for money"

"We (family of 2 adults + 2 children + dog) had a very comfortable night’s stay in the adjoining family rooms. We were very impressed with the value for money, the rooms were very clean & spacious and the beds were comfortable (single beds were larger than normal!). At first the adjoining door was locked as the booking seemed to be mixed up, but the issue was sorted promptly at reception. We then had a knock on the door by a member of staff the following morning asking if we had booked the second...

"We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money for a short few hour stay on route to our destination. It is true to say the hotel was full of charcter and one could easily imagine how beautiful it was in its heyday.... however time has clearly taken its toll. It seemed to have a variety of characters staying there..... Certainly one may feel vulnerable in the sirrounding area.... but the car park was close and included in the cost of the room. We have no complaints whatsoever. ...
