"Beautiful hotel. No complaints whatsoever. I stayed in the Crescent Room for 2 nights, while I didn't need or require my room to be cleaned by the housekeepers, I was still left with fresh towels at my door. The breakfast was brilliant. A lot to choose from, not only from the buffet but the menu too. Just book your stay, even if you don't use the fabulous spa, you won't be disappointed with the stay, it's an experience in itself."

"Nice hotel near city centre, nearby parking is in train station multi story car park £8 weekends but it’s a 10 minute walk away from hotel. Hotel has bar, restaurant, rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Near to shops, bars and restaurants, Nottingham Castle is about 15-20 minute walk. Would stay again if in the area."

"This is a well run hotel. It is an old hotel so, you must expect things to be a little unmoden. It was clean, staff were helpful and was a pet friendly hotel. Parking outside on the road but given a pass to place in your car. The bed was lovely, we got a good nights sleep. The shower was easy to use and over a bath. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of continental, cereal and/or full English. Lovely smiling staff first thing in the morning. At checkout we were asked if everything had been okay from the lovely gentleman on reception. We travel alot all over the world and this hotel and staff were as good as some of the 4 and 5 stars we stay at. It's not always about how modern a place is, sometimes its about the history of the building and the vibe it gives you. There is a few areas that are in need of a little work but that is understandable with the age of the building. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Clean room but couldn't open windows as to much noise from outdoor fans and the smell if greasy food was on level 2 at the back apart from this was a good stay "

"It doesn't help that hotels.com use a different grading for rooms to the hotels own website so I didn't actually get the type of room I was expecting. Other than that a perfectly good stay other than with the room bath not having a plug they had to give me a key to a 2nd room as they were unable to find a spare bath plug"
