"I was very impressed with this hotel. Read a few negative reviews prior to booking, and luckily didn’t pay attention because they seemed kinda petty. The property was beautiful and very clean and well maintained. It was my wife’s birthday so we booked the honeymoon suite…with large jacuzzi in the bathroom. An excellent choice !! Check in was fast and easy, staff were smiling and friendly and we had a great time. A big plus was the HUGE swimming pool sized

"This resort was quite good. It was not crowded and it was compact. I definitely will visit again. Only wish the swimming pools had more shadow areas since the sun in Panama is very strong. Food was tasty and the menu rotated everyday. The nightly shows were kind of cheesy (except by the young singer from Ecuador who had a pretty voice). "

"We ended our family vacation to Panama with this all-inclusive stay at Riu Playa Blanca. In general our stay was quite pleasant. The hotel, our room and all areas are quite clean. The staff are lovely and quite good at their jobs. And lastly, since it's an all-inclusive, I must mention the food. Starting with the al-la carte restaurants, the service was excellent, but the food was only okay. I would say it was generally under seasoned. "This is a large resort about 120 Km from Panama City on Pacific coast . The nature is beautiful in the resort which has not been renovated for at least ten years . The resort has several sections including privately owned condos and villas. The food quality is 3 star at best with reasonable choices . The most attractive feature of this resort is a gigantic man made lagoon with concrete floor . However, I was lucky to be under radar and was able to use the best and cleanest part of this Lagoon...
